Rules
what left to do but complain? ♥

1. Respect Kalie *the admin, lol. you don't necessarily have to respect the character. :)*
2. Remember the Golden Rule. Or learn it if you forgot it. Treat others as you want to be treated.
3. No adult content, please. This includes images, talking about any of it. I'm going to try and keep this site very age appropriate for kids even as young as 12.
4. Okay, I'm not going to put any word limits on you, but please write more than three sentences in each post.
5. It's just courteous that if someone takes the time to write out a really long post, that you should write one too. If someone writes a four paragraph, 1,090 word post, don't reply with something five sentences long. Please. :)
6. When posting, please use proper grammar and spelling. There is spell check you know. Also, no chatspeak unless in OOC, and even then, use it sparingly. :)
7. Be realistic. No flying pink ponies or anything. Sorry. :D
8. No powerplaying, please. If you don't understand what that means, please message me and I'll explain.
9. No third-person omniscient. Your character can't tell what other people are thinking by anything other than facial expressions/body language, ect.
10. It would probably be best to use third-person limited, but you can also use first person. :)
11. You should be fluent in the English language if you're going to play this game.
12. If you're not a good writer, that's okay, just as long as you're willing to get better and let us help you. :)
13. PLEASE use the character template. I took a long time planning it out for you. :)
14. Most shows will be roleplayed and judged by the characters roleplaying skills. We will have a new team of judges for each show, so these will be as fair as possible. However, some quick shows will be randomized using a class list. :)
15. PLEASE stay active!
16. Fill out the character template as creatively as you can. Keep it detailed. Show us how great you are at roleplaying! :)
17. If your character is attending school, he/she must be 12-18 years old. However, your charrie can be older or younger and living in Lee Vining.
18. ALL characters will be leasing a horse if they attend Dreamside Riding School. This is part of the academy's rules.
19. Mares must be at least 3 to breed, stallions two.
20. Horses must be at least 3 to begin showing under saddle, 5 to begin jumping classes. They can begin halter classes at 6 months.
21. You are in charge of keeping all records of your horses. These will be checked monthly. Post them in the Tack and Feed Room of the Main Barn.
22. You are also in charge of keeping track of your character's money. These records will be checked monthly. Post them at the bank.
23. As soon as you join, your character will have a riding lesson in the arena for fun to judge which horse they should be assigned.
24. Once your character is assigned a horse, no questions asked. Unless I decide to change the horse, or the riding instructor *who I will choose* changes the horse, you are stuck with them.
25. Horses must see the vet every 6 months and the farrier every 6 weeks.

OOC News~ ¢¾ Hey, wake up! Dreamside is back in business and so am I! So, my poppits, let's get the activity going again. I'll be advertising as much as I can so hopefully some new members will be drawn in soon! ;] Here's to Dreamside! ¢¾ - AURALIS. =)	Game News~ ¢¾ Updated ;; 11/5/08 A new year has come to Dreamside, and that means new students, new horses ... New trouble. A virus running through the stable is holding off Equestrian Team plans. Avid riders are anxiously awaiting veterinarian verdicts as their favorite horses are inspected for the virus, and spending the day at the dorm in fear as others are being shipped away for quarantine. Never knowing which ones will return and which ones won't. It's so ironic as goodbyes are being made to the seniors and horses leaving us, while hellos are being made to our new students. Everything's changing, even the school itself, as students try to focus on things other than the horses that were once so vital to the academy. An uprising is forming against barn management. The students that were angry for whoever bought the diseased horses and brought them in spread the news to others. And some people will take any excuse to get in on a fight. As the gang violence is trying to be controlled and the barn doors stay locked, the world seems to be rotating in a completely new direction this winter. Dreamside Academy :ll: On Ice.
